Bullying

Bullying is the use of threat and force in order  to abuse, intimidate or aggressively domninate others. The behaviour is often repeated and habitual.

 

In the video clip you will hear some useful advice about bullying.

You will hear the expression tattle-tale (a noun). A tattle-tale is a person who reports the wrong-doings of others to an authority.

For example: "Suzie is such a tattle-tale. She always tells the teacher when I cheat on a test."

To tattle (a verb)  means to reveal the plans and activities of others; to gossip.

 

Tattle-tale  /ˈtætl̩teɪl/  is American English.

Tell-tale /ˈtelteɪl/ is British English.
